Lineage of my Hands

This print is a visual representation of the juggling of generational identities between myself, mother and grandmother. By using images of the three generations of women's hands, and the embossment of the wood flooring in my current kitchen, I examine the ways in which each woman's identity is fastened to places, lineages, and the ideas of self occupied by her own self and those that came before her.
