Cotton Bowl from the Cadillac is an exploration of the layers of generational identity and story, and the ways in which each affects the others.

The book contains layered imagery of my mother’s, grandmother’s and my own hands produced through xerox transfers, original photographs of my grandmother, layered lithographically printed text containing each generation of woman’s different remembering of a family story, printed in her respective handwriting, as well as a fabric hard cover made out of an old pair of my mothers pants.
